Resume:

Liang Zhao is an Associate Professor in the State Key Laboratory of Isotope Geochemistry, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his B.Sc. in Geochemistry from China University of Geosciences, Wuhan in 2005, and his Ph.D. in Tectonic Geology from Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Key Laboratory of Ocean and Marginal Sea Geology, South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, CAS. Since 2012, he has been working in the State Key Laboratory of Isotope Geochemistry, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, CAS.     


Research Interests:

Subduction related magmatism and its tectonic implication as well as deep dynamic process;

Recycling of subduction slab and intraplate magmatic processes;

Petrogenesis of granites and metamorphic rocks during crustal anatexis.
