Laboratory facilities:

Cold-seal autoclaves, piston cylinder apparatus, multi-anvil apparatus, diamond anvil cells (DAC), laser ablation-ICP-MS; secondary-ion mass spectrometry (SIMS-1280HR; NanoSIMS), Raman and Infrared spectroscopy, Mossbauer spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electron microprobe.  


Research Interests:

Using high-pressure experiments to understand the geochemistry of volatiles N-C-S-H; planetary core-mantle segregation; chalcophile and siderophile elements in magmatic and fluid systems; and subduction zone processes.
