The State Key Laboratory of Organic Geochemistry, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Council of AAAPG, PetroChina Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development, and Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Exploration and Development successfully host the 10th Asian-African International Conference on Petroleum Geochemistry and Exploration (AAPG2019) in Guangzhou in May 2019. The special volume of the conference proceeding was currently published online in the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Engineering Science (Figure 1). IOP: EES mainly publishes the proceedings of the international conference on earth and environmental science, which is indexed by EI. This volume collects 52 papers, reflecting new developments in petroleum geochemistry research and exploration in Asia and African areas (Figure 2).
