1. Mineral Structure, Chemistry, and Reactivity

My research focuses on how mineral structure and chemistry govern mineral properties and reactivity. I am particularly interested in crystal structure, surface chemistry, and reaction processes such as dissolution, precipitation, adsorption, ion exchange, and redox reactions.

2. Solid Waste-Based Construction Materials

I study the sustainable use of industrial solid wastes, including tailings, slag, fly ash, and construction debris, for the development of low-carbon construction materials. My work includes material characterization, reaction mechanisms, and the design of cementitious materials, bricks, and functional composites.

3. Machine Learning for Materials Design

I apply machine learning to materials design and optimization. By integrating data on composition, structure, processing, and performance, I develop predictive models for mineral-based and waste-derived materials to support performance prediction and data-driven material development.
