I was trained as a chemist and am interested in many topics on atmospheric chemistry, biogeochemistry, cosmochemistry, and astrochemistry, especially the chemistry and applications of mass-independent isotope effects in Earth, atmospheric, and planetary sciences. My recent research projects are centered on (i) development of new techniques for radioactive and stable isotope measurements in natural samples, (ii) chemical physics of mass-independent isotope effects in planetary processes, (iii) volatiles in the deep Earth, and (iv) the origins of solar system and life. Graduate student and post-doc positions are available. Highly motivated students/scientists with a range of academic backgrounds (analytical/physical chemistry, Earth/atmospheric/planetary sciences) are desirable. Our research is driven by curiosity.
