Research Interests:

My research primarily centers on the geochemical behavior of non-traditional stable isotopes, including but not limited to Molybdenum (Mo), Rubidium (Rb), Boron (B), Titanium (Ti), and Cerium (Ce) in supergene processes. Currently, my work focuses on exploring the migration and cycling of Mo and Rb isotopes in these processes, with particular emphasis on their fractionation mechanisms in key Earth surface processes. These processes include bedrock weathering, river transport, estuarine mixing, and marine deposition, as well as their response models to climate change. Additionally, I utilize these isotopic tracers to reconstruct the history of global environmental evolution during critical geological periods. This approach provides valuable insights into past climate conditions and environmental changes, enhancing our understanding of Earth's geochemical cycles and their responses to various factors over time. Through this research, our aim to contribute to our knowledge of elemental and isotopic cycling in surface environments and improve our ability to interpret the geological record.
