Research

My research is concerned on the geochemistry and geological settings of the large-scale Mesozoic-Cenozoic igneous rocks in eastern China. I am particularly interested in crustal recycling processes during the enrichment of subcontinental lithospheric mantle by using in situ trace element and radiogenic and stable isotope analyses, and also the magmatic evolution processes recorded in minerals.

Current projects include the spatial and temporal distribution and petrogenesis of the large-scale Mesozoic volcanic lavas in SE China, the enrichment processes beneath the cratonic lithosphere in the Sino-Korean Craton and the mechanism for Mesozoic crustal growth in NE China.
