 (1) New geochemical proxy in marine calcifying organism for biological activity;

 (2) Ocean Acidification: seawater pH variation over daily, monthly, seasonal, annual and decadal timescales;

 (3) Coral responses to climate change

 (4) History of coral reef evolution in the northern South China Sea
