Resume:

2001.09--2005.06, China University of Geoscience (Wuhan), Geoscience Department, Geochemistry, Bachelor;

2005.09—2010.06, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry (GIG), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), geochemistry, PhD

2010.09 to present, the continuous-flow stable isotope laboratory with Isoprime 100 gas source isotope ratio mass spectrometers couple with devices of Continuous-flow and DualInlet module (EA, GC, Multiflow, and TraceGas) in State Key Laboratory of Isotope Geochemistry and Key Laboratory of Ocean and Marginal Sea Geology, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry at GIG.

2014.03-2014.09, the visiting scholar to Louisiana State University (USA) supported by CSC.

Several projects supported by NSFC, Guangzhou City, GIG and other were carried out. More than 40 publications, including 5 first author’s and 3 corresponding author’s were published. I am the reviewer of several journals (Journal of Hydrology, Rapid Communications in Mass Spectrometry, Scientific Reports, etc).

Research Interests:

  Dr Xie is a master student supervisor, and his interests are natural process andanthropological activities in atmosphere and hydrosphere and coral from South China Sea by using stable isotopes (13C-17O-18O-15N-34S), and developing new analytic technology on stable isotopes.
